Freya's Bower and Wild Child Publishing would like to congratulate Teresa D'Amario for her upcoming release.

Blood Moon Betrayed by Teresa D'Amario will be the Book of the Day at Author Island on September 18th. be sure to stop by and see what the contest is to win a copy.

We are having some issues with our shipping module for print books on the Web site. I am working to get it fixed, but it may require an entire overhaul of the site. If that happens, Freya's may be down for a day or so while I fix everything. If this happens, I will send a brief newsletter out before taking the site down. This should only affect print books. You should still be able to purchase and download eBooks as long as the site is up. If you can't, please contact me at store@freyasbower.com.

I am blogging at Four Strong Women this week. Come by and chat.

Blood Moon Betrayed by Teresa D'Amario

Sean has known nothing but betrayal in his heart for many years. He's lost the leadership of his pack and with that, his wife. His daughters barely speak to him. Now he wants peace, and the only place to search for it is in the darkness of the forest. But the scent of a human female in peril drags him from the recesses of his pain, crushing what little balance remains.

Caden was once the popular cheerleader dressed to the nines. But when her ex-husband comes in search of blood, she realizes her past is nothing compared to the future she desires. Just as she's about to breathe her last, a voice tells her everything will be okay. But Caden knows different.

Beneath the light of the Blood Moon Festival beats the heart of the ultimate betrayal. Murder strikes so close to the heart, shattering Sean's soul, and destroying Caden's hopes of the future.

Moments in Life is a multi-cultural collection of 15 stories about human lives that coaxes, teases, explores, and entices our emotions to examine the inner-self and scrutinize the lives of those who live around us. The book flirts with mystery and crosses ethnic boundaries. It touches on women's issues and confronts abject poverty in India. It focuses on the absorption of American values and the stumbling blocks faced by a segment of the immigrant population. It also relates to everyday life in America and stretches our imagination toward the nature of mankind. From social issues to coming out of the closet of a gay heterosexual couple to horror and supernatural to the power of love, this collection challenges and entertains the reader.

Red Tail Heart: The Life and Love of a Tuskegee Airman by Kenneth Williams

Available September 27, 2011

Beleaguered divorce attorney Christopher Irvin was far more astute at putting marriages asunder than creating one of his own. So when the specter of death shattered the quiet complacency of his well-ordered world, he began to re-evaluate his life from the ground up.

Chris' search for meaning leads him directly to his expatriate uncle, Roy Lankster, a decorated member of the famed Tuskegee Airmen. Nearly 50 years earlier, Roy's P 51 Mustang fighter plane crashed in France in the lead up to WWII's D-Day invasion. Broken, battered and barely alive, he's rescued by Marie Renoir, a member of the French Resistance'. Their courage in the face of the ever present danger of capture is only overshadowed by a love between them so powerful that it rivals the first and greatest love in human history. The raging war, synthetic insanity, and the unassigned immoral forces of the universe conspire to tear them apart.

Chris, through Roy's writings, relives his uncle's relentless struggle to reunite with his love for the ages, and embarks himself on a personal journey of love and redemption.
